Plex, without the friction.

Beam is a native client for Apple TV, Mac, iPhone and iPad. It remembers where you were, plays what you asked for, and folds your Sonarr and Radarr queue into the same interface you browse in.

1.0 follows the beta — TestFlight opens first, Apple TV first.
Direct play first

Transcode only when the file truly needs it — and Beam tells you why.

Native, per platform

tvOS, macOS and iOS — built for each one, not wrapped once.

Sonarr · Radarr

Search, grab and watch the queue without leaving the couch.

Nothing to upsell

Your server, your shelves. No discover rows, no trailers, no ads.

Interactive

The Apple TV interface, running right here.

Click into the screen, then drive it with the arrow keys and Enter — exactly like the Siri Remote.

Why bother

Every one of these came from a complaint.

Resume that is actually right

Positions sync the moment you pause, on every device. No rewatching four minutes because the last client never wrote back.

Tracks that stick

Pick a subtitle and audio track once per show and Beam keeps it — across episodes, seasons and devices.

Skip intro, instantly

One press, no half-second lag, no chip that reappears. Credits roll straight into the next episode.

Honest playback info

Direct play, direct stream or transcode — stated plainly, with the reason. Force direct play when you know better.

Only what you own

No discover rows, no trailers, no streaming-service upsell. Your shelves are the whole app.

Nothing waits on a spinner

Artwork is cached ahead of the scroll and the library browses offline; playback starts while metadata catches up.

*arr stack

The part no other client does.

Point Beam at Sonarr, Radarr and Prowlarr once. Then search for something you don't own, grab it from the same screen you browse in, and watch the queue fill from the couch — no browser, no phone, no second app.

01
Connect once
Paste your Sonarr, Radarr and Prowlarr URLs and keys in Settings. Beam keeps them in the keychain, on device.
02
Search everything at once
One search box covers your library and your indexers. Owned titles play; unowned ones offer a grab.
03
Watch the queue from the couch
Progress, imports and failures live in the Requests tab — and new files appear in the library without a refresh.
Platforms
